Parsons Brinckerhoff names new chairman
In his new position, Richard A. Schrader, who currently serves as executive vice president/CFO, will provide broad policy oversight for PB, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization.
Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) announced Richard A. Schrader as its new chairman, succeeding Keith J. Hawksworth, who is retiring after 33 years with the firm.
In his new position, Schrader, who currently serves as executive vice president/CFO, will provide broad policy oversight for PB, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization.
The firm has also begun an executive search process for a CFO to succeed Schrader, who has been with PB for 27 years and has been a member of the firm's Board of Directors since 1992.
Hawksworth, who joined PB in 1976, served as CEO from December 2007 through December 2009 and during that time led a strategic planning process that resulted in PB's October 2009 merger with Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure Group operating in professional services, construction services, support services and infrastructure investments.
PB's Board will now consist of CEO George Pierson, Ashok Kothari and Schrader.
