[IMAGE]E.jpg[/IMAGE]Railquip introduced its new Battery Powered Railcar Mover, which utilizes its full traction weight on the drive wheels to pull 350 tons of trailing load on straight and level track.

The mover's four electric motors, including stepless adjustable control for the individually driven wheel, allow car movement in both directions. The guide wheels can be swiveled by 135 degrees. Off the track, the unit has a turning radius of only 63 inches and can easily go on and off track. On elevated track, the railcar mover can be operated via radio remote control.
