Setra delivers S 417 to N.Y.
Upstate Transit of Saratoga LLC's new Sahara Metallic coach is equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 EPA 2007 engine and an Allison B500R transmission.

[IMAGE]Upstate.jpg[/IMAGE]Upstate Transit of Saratoga (N.Y.) LLC, recently took delivery of a 2009 Setra S 417 Luxury Coach from Daimler Buses North America to add to their fleet of both Setra and Prevost motorcoaches.
The new Sahara Metallic coach is equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 EPA 2007 engine and an Allison B500R transmission. The coach also sports a fire suppression system, 110-volt plug-in outlets, Saucon system display, rear window and a back-up camera.
Additional features of the 56-passenger vehicle, include a five-monitor DVD system, wood veneer flooring plus entry/aisle carpeting, an Aesys side destination sign for passenger marketing, full fabric-interior, and reclining Nimbus-style passenger seating with two-point seatbelts.
The sister company of Brown Coach of Amsterdam, Upstate Transit serves the Adirondack and Greater Capital District areas of Upstate New York. The company operates 23 motorcoaches.
