RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Riverside Transit Agency hit an all-time high 9.6 million boardings for the fiscal year ending this past June, with the growth fueled in part by area college students, The Press Enterprise reported.
The agency reported nearly 1.6 million student boardings at six schools — UC Riverside, Cal Baptist University, La Sierra University Mt. San Jacinto College, Riverside City College and Moreno Valley College — in fiscal 2015. Student ridership at the schools has climbed 6% in the past two years. For the full story, click here.
