The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) and the Port Authority Transit Corp. (PATCO) awarded TAC a $3.8 million contract to install an integrated video monitoring and emergency communications system along the PATCO rapid transit rail lines that connect Philadelphia and southern New Jersey via the Ben Franklin Bridge.
The project, which is funded by the Department of Homeland Security and purchased through the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Association, will see TAC replacing the existing closed circuit television system and adding an emergency communication system to improve the safety and security of DRPA’s ridership.
