Team Trailways launched its 75th anniversary year with a second new team member, Precious Cargo Trailways. Based in the suburbs of greater Cleveland, Precious Cargo is a family owned and operated company that provides variety charter motorcoach transportation services. Team Trailways now numbers 90 companies based throughout North America and Europe.
“We are excited to welcome our newest team member,” said Trailways President/CEO Gale Ellsworth. “Because Precious Cargo embodies the business operations and ethical values for which our team has become renowned in the past seven, plus decades. Precious Cargo joins Excursions Trailways of Ottawa, Ohio, in giving us a wider brand presence in the region, and for that we are most pleased.”
Precious Cargo — a name that stems from the company’s commitment to safety first for its core business of transporting school children — began in 1993 with a fleet of school buses, and added equipment over the years to its current 25 vehicles, including nine full-size coaches and 13 school buses.
