Transdev Extends Operations in California
The company announced two new partnerships in the California region.

Transdev announced two new partnerships in the California region.
In Solano County, Transdev will provide transit services for SolTrans beginning July 1. The company will transition current operators and staff from the prior contractor, but employees will have new uniforms, training, and be under a new management team.
“We are looking forward to the fresh, new approach that Transdev will bring to our daily operations,” said John Sanderson, operations manager for SolTrans. “Our goal is to provide our passengers with a safe, reliable, courteous, efficient, and accessible transportation experience and this partnership will help us achieve that goal.”
Transdev will be operating the multimodal SolTrans system within the cities of Benicia and Vallejo, with regional connections to Bay Area Rapid Transit in Contra Costa County. They will be maintaining the SolTrans fleet of 68 buses to deliver 16 bus routes, which include nine local routes, three supplemental school routes operating within the Benicia/ Vallejo area, three lines that provide regional service connections, and the entire paratransit service.
Transdev will begin managing the operations of the City of Lodi’s GrapeLine and VineLine services.
Transdev was the highest ranked firm out of five bidders for its ability to bring higher quality service, modern technology solutions, and improved customer service. Further, the City will benefit from Transdev’s expertise as it prepares for fleet electrification over the next few years.
“We look forward to embarking on this new partnership and being a valuable member of the Lodi community — as a seamless extension of the City as the transit provider, but also as an employer of Lodi citizens,” said Transdev RVP Ron Bushman.
