Trapeze Group will supply the Baltimore-based Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) with a comprehensive operations management solution. MTA passengers have been benefiting from the Trapeze online trip planning and schedule information for several years; now, MTA employees have the opportunity to utilize additional Trapeze software in the back office.

The Trapeze transit software solution streamlines frequently performed operational tasks, including bidding, dispatching, timekeeping, workforce management and yard management. It can be further enhanced with interactive voice response access to work assignments and Web-based access to bidding requests, work assignments, employee information and more.

The operations management software for MTA includes functionality that enables employee sign-ups, dispatching of daily activities, timekeeping, yard management and workforce management. The solution also can be enhanced to include software that allows operators to sign in at a kiosk or remote terminal and securely view personal information online, including bidding requests, daily work assignments, timekeeping, and employee information.

The solution is integrated with Trapeze's fixed route scheduling, paratransit software, customer feedback, itinerary planning, ITS and FleetFocus products. The solution also can be integrated with MTA's third-party payroll, human resources management systems and other applications and data sources.
