LAFAYETTE, La. — University of Louisiana-Lafayette (UL) officials are in the final stages of developing a master plan to guide the campus' growth, which will include more green space, better transit options, mixed land use, improved housing and a community less dependent on vehicles, theadvertiser.com reported.
Officials plan to use an improved bus system or elevated tram as well as more bike paths and pedestrian walkways to move students and community members between three main campus zones. Planners say the changes will boost UL's regional and national standings. For the full story, click here.
