Grande West Transportation Group Inc.’s exclusive U.S. distributor Alliance Bus Group (ABG) will deliver 10 Vicinity buses for private customers in New York, Boston, and Boca Raton, Fla. The names of the private companies will not be released for competitive reasons, according to the company.
"Starting in January, our sales and engineering groups have been working closely with ABG sales staff to respond to many public and private RFPs across the U.S. We are now seeing that diligent work pay off, much like we saw in the early days of our Canadian sales ramp,” said William Trainer, CEO of Grande West. “It's very exciting to know that within the next two quarters, Vicinity will be operating across four states in the U.S., which includes New York, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Florida."
