Veolia acquires call center tech. provider
Will be run as a separate division of On Demand and continue to be managed by Dan Tamkin. All of the Unified Dispatch LLC team has also been retained.
The On Demand division of Veolia Transportation acquired Altadena, Calif.-based Unified Dispatch LLC (UDI) for an undisclosed amount.
UDI is the largest call center technology provider in the taxi and paratransit ground transportation sector and Veolia On Demand includes SuperShuttle, ExecuCar and Golden Touch of New York and Compass Transportation in San Francisco, as well as taxi companies across the US.
UDI will be run as a separate division of On Demand and continue to be managed by Dan Tamkin. All of the UDI team has also been retained.
