Veolia Transportation received a contract renewal to operate fixed route transit and neighborhood circulator service for the city of Tempe, Ariz. The company has operated the service since 1998.
Under the new contract, Veolia Transportation will continue operating bus services in and around Tempe and will be enhancing the already strong local management team with new talent in the areas of environmental management and sustainability, operations, IT and data analysis. Plans are also under way to implement several new technology solutions, which will assist Veolia in improving the quality of pre-trip inspection and maintenance processes, as well as fuel efficiency.
