Sophie Guiny has joined InfraStrategies LLC as principal consultant, specializing in the development of project funding and finance solutions for transportation infrastructure projects.
Guiny is welcomed by a team of professionals focused on developing solutions for infrastructure programs and projects, with an emphasis on objective and sustainable pathways to success for transportation and infrastructure development.
She joins the InfraStrategies team as an exceptionally accomplished transportation infrastructure funding and financing expert and will be based in the Washington, D.C. office. She brings 15 years of experience advising a range of public and private clients on capital planning, public-private partnerships, federal sources of funding, and financing, including projects requiring complex financing structures and funding. Guiny successfully led projects and managed programs in public transit, high-speed and passenger rail, highways, and toll facilities.
Prior to joining InfraStrategies, Guiny worked for Transurban and Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as practice lead for transportation finance and economics and co-practice lead for rail and transit. Her clients included several U.S. DOT modal agencies and the TIFIA credit program.
Although volumes remain below pre-pandemic levels, NYMTC’s latest Hub Bound report shows rising transit use, shifting commute patterns, and continued recovery.
