MV Transportation Inc. was awarded a contract to provide fixed-route and paratransit services by St. Lucie County, Fla.
Under terms of the five-year contract, MV will oversee all operational activities associated with fixed-route bus and on-demand Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant paratransit services, including the award-winning Treasure Coast Connector system. The company will be responsible for service delivery, maintenance, reservations, scheduling, and dispatch.
MV’s new contract with St. Lucie County extends the company’s long history of providing transportation services to Florida communities, with additional services offered in Collier County, Coral Gables, Gainesville, Hialeah, Jacksonville, Martin County, Okaloosa County, Okeechobee County, Orlando, and Palm Beach County.
Managed by St. Lucie County’s Transit Division, the Treasure Coast Connector is the free, award-winning public transit system for Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and St. Lucie County.
