UMA taps United Bus Technology as tech partner for Busrates.com
The site has long stood alone in the industry as a non-broker lead generation tool for charter bus operators in North America.

The United Motorcoach Association announced it has chosen UBT (United Bus Technology) as the official technology partner for BusRates.com.
BusRates.com has long stood alone in the industry as a non-broker lead generation tool for charter bus operators in North America and has been owned by UMA since 2004.
"We are proud of the history of BusRates.com under the leadership of UMA" said UMA President/CEO Stacy Tetschner. "We have worked hard to keep it true to its mission of providing high quality quote requests from real consumers to operators in good standing. We are proud that, together with UMA, BusRates has helped keep these valuable leads out of the hands of brokers. We also realize that with the changing times online and changing technologies that we needed a partner who was, at their very core, a technology company. We are excited that we found that with UBT."
United Bus Technology, a technology company based in Virginia, hired Roxana Melgar as the new GM of BusRates.com.
