Four people were killed and four others critically injured Saturday as a motorcoach plowed into the back of a tractor-trailer parked on the side of a highway in western New York. Three people aboard the motorcoach were killed, as was the truck driver, who was standing outside the tractor-trailer when it was struck by the motorcoach. The bus was carrying 22 passengers, mainly members of a women's hockey team from Windsor, Ontario, when the crash occurred near Geneseo, N.Y., about 30 miles south of Rochester. The passengers also included coaches and relatives of the players. According to the Winnipeg Sun, the bus was headed for a ski resort following a hockey game earlier in the day. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
