The American Bus Association (ABA) announced new strategic partnerships that expand the savings its members receive on everything from fuel and tires to insurance services. Providers Fleet One, FirstLab, Sage Payment Solutions and Digital Insurance join Hewlett-Packard, J.J. Keller and 16 other national brands to bring ABA members the industry’s most robust portfolio of member discounts.

FLEET ONE LLC — A new partnership with Fleet One, a provider of fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions, will offer private-label fuel cards and exclusive discounts to ABA members.

ABA strives to provide direct economic benefits to its members. The new partnership brings that goal closer with branded fuel cards, which offer fuel savings, controls and fraud reduction. The partnership also brings access to the Bridgestone National Preferred program, offering ABA members discounts on emergency and routine tire replacement and to Driver Road Services for breakdown and maintenance assistance at discounted prices from national service centers.

FIRSTLAB — ABA partnered with FirstLab, the largest third-party administrator of drug and alcohol testing in the country, to give ABA members access to premium testing and employer service packages at reduced cost.

Special benefits for ABA members only include:

•  Pre-negotiated discount pricing.

•  Free “reasonable suspicion” training DVD ($139 value) with signed contract.

•  Free data transfer and a guaranteed, hassle-free transition.

•  No setup, monthly or annual fees.

FirstLab services include substance abuse testing, nationwide specimen collection, background investigations, and expert Medical Review Officer consultation. Special ABA member rates are available by calling 800/732-DRUG (3784) or emailing info@firstlab.com. Answers to frequently asked questions and the FirstLab application are available at www.buses.org.

SAGE PAYMENT SOLUTIONS — Sage Payment Solutions offers complete payment processing solutions that include everything companies need to accept and process credit cards, debit cards, checks, e-checks and more. Sage has 20 years of experience providing businesses and organizations with electronic payment systems and provides payment products that facilitate the acceptance of payment for all types of businesses.

The partnership with Sage Payment Solutions will offer another way for ABA members to improve the efficiency of their operations. A white paper with additional information about “Maximizing Cash Flow with Electronic Payments and Processing Automation” is available for download from the Sage Payment Solutions website. For more information, visit http://www.sagepayments.com/Partners/Association-Partner-Program/ABA or call 866/646-3360.

Additionally, the American Bus Association Insurance Service (ABAIS) partnered with Digital Insurance to deliver ABA members and their employees access to a broader array of insurance carrier options, consultative and administrative services, specialized employee benefit products and communication services. The products and services are designed to help members make informed and compliant decisions regarding their approach to employee benefits programs while maintaining affordability and product selection objectives. Employees of ABA member companies will gain from increased selection, customized benefits and a focus on education and communication of their coverage options both as an employee and as an individual.
