Nashville-based motorcoach transportation company Anchor Tours purchased Brantley Charter Inc. of Lexington, Tenn.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With the acquisition, will now have four offices, with the other two located in Paducah, Ky. and Tuscumbia, Ala.

With the acquisition, Anchor Tours will now have four offices, with the other two located in Paducah, Ky. and Tuscumbia, Ala.
“This is a natural extension of our business, making it possible to provide affordable services in the western part of the state, including Memphis,” Jared Stancil, Anchor Tours vice president. “With these strategically located facilities, our offices can support each other to cover volume or unforeseen service interruptions, and our main Nashville garage can provide scheduled state-of-the-art maintenance rotating our equipment to all offices assuring safe transportation to our customers at all times.”
Danny and Nancy Brantley have owned and operated Brantley Charter. Bud Hale, an Anchor driver and former manager of the Tuscumbia office, is handling the day-to-day operations at the Lexington facility.
