LOS GATOS, Calif. — A proposed extension of the Valley Transportation Authority light rail line would add 1.6 miles of track and two stations from Campbell to Los Gatos. Some critics believe the cost is too high for the relatively short extension, reported KTVU.com.
The Valley Transit Authority estimates an extra 430 daily boardings along the corridor if the Vasona Junction Station is completed in 2015 and 717 extra boardings by 2035 if the Hacienda Station and park and ride lots come to fruition.
