DOT publishes new ITS/Operations guide
Print and online versions now available.
The U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) Research and Innovative Technology Administration has released the ITS/Operations Resource Guide 2007, both in print and online.
Now in its seventh edition, the book compiles over 400 documents, videos, Websites, training courses, software tools and points-of-contact related to ITS and transportation operations. New features in this edition include resources relating to the U.S. DOT's Congestion Initiative; resources developed as part of the Transportation Management Center Pooled-Fund Study (TMC PFS); and new documents related to congestion pricing, traveler information, road weather management, advanced parking management systems, standards, configuration management, systems engineering and project funding.
