e-VERIFILE.COM signs first transit agency
Indianapolis agency to conduct employee background investigations.
e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. has signed Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp. (IndyGo) as its newest client.
e-VERIFILE.COM’s products and support will enable IndyGo to conduct routine background investigations on all of its incoming applicants for employment, verifying employment histories, credit reports and potential criminal records.
IndyGo marks the first organization signed by e-VERIFILE.COM as part of its new initiative to serve the mass transit industry.
A member of APTA, e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. has served some of the nation’s largest transportation logistics and trucking companies. In 2005, the company was selected by several U.S. and Canadian Class 1 railroads to develop e-RAILSAFE, an industry wide security and safety initiative that facilitates safety orientation, background screening, credentialing and tracking of railroad contractors and their employees.
