The City of Wilsonville, Ore.'s SMART Transit, selected ETA Transit System's flagship intelligent transportation system (ITS), SPOT™.

The SPOT ITS and its flexible, open architecture allowed SMART to implement a variety of new, value-added features that enhanced their riders experience, including real-time arrival predictions, on-board announcements, paratransit scheduling, digital manifests and integration to its existing website.

SMART's Transit Director, Stephan Lashbrook said, "It was not easy, selecting from among eight well-qualified firms. But, in the end, it was the positive responses from ETA's various references that really put them on top with our review panel. Of the references that I checked, I did not hear a single negative comment about ETA."

Nicole Castonguay, CEO at ETA Transit Systems stated, "At the heart of ETA beats a dedication to helping our customers achieve their operational goals. As much as I would like to say that it's the flexibility that our SPOT ITS offers in meeting this end-and it is true-sometimes it's the culture and dedication of the company itself that sets us apart. Many companies will tout their customer service, but at ETA it's the bedrock upon which we stake our reputation."
