Commercial vehicle industry supplier Hadley announced the transfer of its Elkhart, Ind.-based interiors manufacturing operations to Hadley’s corporate headquarters in Grandville, Mich.
An Interior sales and engineering office will remain in Elkhart, close to customers and suppliers in that area.
Hadley announced last week the sale of its transit mirrors product line in Elkhart to Safe Fleet.
“We are very proud of our manufacturing folks in Elkhart; it is a great business community with a strong Midwestern work ethic,” said Thomas Bronz, president of Hadley. “The move to Michigan was based on the consideration that Hadley’s existing facility in Grandville will benefit from the additional volume.”
Hadley’s 110,000-square-foot facility in Grandville will expand interiors capacity and provide exceptional product quality and delivery. There will be no disruption in delivery of products to customers during the transfer of operations. The transition to Grandville will take place over a three-month period.
