IC Corp. launches new commercial bus line
Commercial line features five new models.
Known as one of North America's largest school bus manufacturers, IC Corp. will expand into the commercial bus market with five new models. All five models will be mid-sized, integrated buses, with each model catering to specific industry needs. Each model offers an optional GPS vehicle tracking system (Aware Vehicle Intelligence) that enables fleet managers to receive real-time data about the buses' location, speed, fuel efficiency and maintenance needs. IC Corp.’s new commercial buses are targeted for use by hotels, rental car companies, airports, medical facilities, universities and tour companies. The first units are expected to be ready for delivery in late summer. The new line will include:
A low-floor bus built for easy accessibility
A durable medium-duty bus
A front-engine transit bus that is ideal for day tours
A rear-engine transit bus that holds up to 40 passengers
A small bus model featuring an International VT 365 diesel engine.
