L.A. Metro unveils ‘imagine’ campaign
Public can learn more about projects from new Web page.
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has launched a campaign to focus public attention on how individuals can work with Metro to significantly decrease traffic in Los Angeles County.
Billboards, bus and rail advertising, Web and newspaper ads that debuted this week guide the public to a new interactive Web page which provides more information about current and proposed highway and public transit projects, as well as options for funding them.
The long range transportation plan is also posted on the Website along with notices of seven public meetings that will be held through April to discuss the plan. Following public review, the Metro Board will consider plan adoption in June.
Metro’s long range transportation plan prioritizes dozens of new highway, street and public transit projects throughout Los Angeles County. To learn more about the long range transportation plan and funding options, visit metro.net/imagine.
