Laidlaw Transit Services Inc. was awarded a three-year contract to continue providing fixed-route transportation services for the Delaware Transit Corp. The nine-vehicle, six day-a-week service is offered to the residents of Delaware's Sussex and Kent Counties. In addition, Laidlaw received a five-year contract to continue providing paratransit services for Pace Suburban Bus in Will County, Ill. Laidlaw has operated this service since 1995. The proposal includes using Laidlaw's proprietary software, NaviTrans Navigator and installing DriveCam systems in each revenue vehicle.
