Cyr Bus Lines in Old Town, Maine, added a Dodge Sprinter shuttle bus to its fleet to transport medical staff of the local hospital. The shuttle bus, customized by DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America, features forward-facing seats for 12 passengers and a dual panel, outward-opening side door with 36-inch-wide clearance for easier accessibility. Dodge Sprinters are equipped with Mercedes-Benz diesel engines and five-speed automatic transmissions, which offer enhanced reliability and low fuel consumption. Cyr Bus Lines, a full service transportation company and tour operator, features a fleet of more than 200 motorcoaches, school buses and other vehicles.
