Marcia L. Hale, an experienced public policy strategist with an extensive career in the public and private sectors, including serving in the Clinton White House, has founded Hale Strategies and, after serving as president of Building America’s Future (BAF) since 2009, will become chair of its board.

Hale Strategies will focus on the need to improve America's infrastructure and will provide guidance on federal, state, and local infrastructure initiatives to corporations, non-profits, and government. Hale has strong connections to the national infrastructure community and deep experience in working at all levels of government and politics.

Building America's Future is a bipartisan coalition of elected officials dedicated to bringing about a new era of U.S. investment in infrastructure that enhances our nation's prosperity and quality of life. BAF was founded in 2009 by former Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York, former Gov. Edward Rendell of Pennsylvania, and former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California. Former U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood joined BAF as a co-chair in 2013. BAF’s membership includes a politically diverse group of state and local elected officials from across the country.

Hale is an experienced public policy strategist with an extensive career in the public and private sectors. She has consulted for numerous technology companies including Sensity, RIM, and Google, as well as assisting several national philanthropic organizations. She is also a member of the Verizon Smart Cities Advisory Board. Hale has held senior level positions in government and national campaigns including the White House where she was assistant to the President and director of intergovernmental affairs for President Bill Clinton.
