MCI delivers 11 J4500s, 2 Setra S 407s to Texas, L.A.
The German-engineered Setra S 407 now comes with optional front and rear bumpers that sport the same sleek, German-engineered design and taillights as the S417.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc., announced that San Antonio’s Star Shuttle & Charter added 11 new 2016 MCI J4500 coaches to meet market demands.
The J4500 offers operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction with plush seating, a state-of-the-art entertainment system, Wi-Fi access and power outlets at every seat.
The latest MCI delivery brings nearly half of Star Shuttle’s 38-J4500 fleet to less than three years old. The company also operates as the Gray Line sightseeing affiliate for Austin and San Antonio, where tourism is on the upswing as well. Known for its destinations like the Alamo, the festive River Walk area and the Missions, San Antonio is a popular vacation destination with 30 million people visiting the city each year.
Travelers have even more reasons to ride with Star Shuttle. The company launched a new marketing campaign along with a new sightseeing tour to the Texas Hill Country and a day tour of Austin.

MCI also announced that Los Angeles’ Corporate Coach Charter & Tour is the first operator in the U.S. to take delivery of two restyled Comfort Class Setra S407s.
The German-engineered Setra S 407 now comes with optional front and rear bumpers that sport the same sleek, German-engineered design and taillights as the S417. Plus the addition of the optional upscale Setra-exclusive Voyage Plus seats with new fabrics and trim options gives the interior a more elegant look.
Safety features on the S 407 include SmartWave® tire-pressure monitoring and a fire-detection system. Exterior lighting includes halogen headlights; LEDs; daytime running lights; and lights for fog, cornering and docking. The Setra S 407 is equipped with a Mercedes Benz OM 471 engine and a high-capacity AC system to accommodate regions with extreme temperatures.
Corporate Coach’s new Setra S407 also features a Bosch entertainment system along with dual 110-volt outlets with dual USB ports at each seat.
