Scented bus shelter ads scrapped in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO — Advertisements embedded with the smell of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies made their debut on five San Francisco bus shelters Monday, but were abruptly pulled by Tuesday afternoon after complaints that the aroma could trigger asthma attacks and allergic reactions in people who are scent sensitive. MBTA debuts ‘CharlieCards’
BOSTON — The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) has launched a new plastic card ticketing system for its bus and subway systems.
