MIAMI — As part of a cost-cutting plan, Miami-Dade plans to trim Metrorail hours next week, closing down an hour earlier on weeknights and cutting back weekend service, the Miami Herald reports.
Metrorail is also rolling back expanded service of the three-mile extension of the Orange Line that opened in 2012 and connects Miami International Airport with the rest of the system, by going back to 30-minute headways instead of the 15-minute intervals it introduced in October.
