Akron, Ohio-based MobilityWorks is inviting visitors to explore its new website and “Mobility Post” blog, featuring inspirational stories and informative articles that touch the disabled community.
The company designed the new website to provide vital information in an enhanced user-friendly design, allowing customers and their families to access detailed product information to improve their independence. The site also provides access to all major social networking sites.
Additionally, the site includes extensive product information to help disabled customers understand MobilityWorks’ range of wheelchair accessible vehicle solutions. New search capabilities and easy-to-use navigation options provide a broad overview of MobilityWorks’ capabilities across a wide range of wheelchair minivan models and conversions for disabled riders and drivers. Side entry and rear entry wheelchair ramp options are displayed in detail for Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda and Toyota minivans as well as full-sized vans converted for wheelchairs.
In addition to vehicles, visitors can explore a other adaptive equipment and lift options, such as wheelchair lifts, scooter lifts, wheelchair restraint systems and tie-downs, for making travel with a wheelchair or scooter easier and safer. Also included is a new section on mechanical and electrical hand controls for disabled individuals who drive with technology assistance.
Resources pages for each of the 12 states MobilityWorks serves provide grant and financial assistance links to help with funding. The newly designed blog and Facebook page features the latest announcements, product updates and opinion pieces from clients and mobility industry experts. The website also allows users to share products and pages that interest them with others through e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and Pinterest social media networks.
