Research Triangle Park, N.C.-based Triangle Transit and GoTriangle have been honored with three national transit awards for the video “#flipfortransit.”
“#flipfortransit” was released in September 2012, after seeing four athletes that used free running and parkour on the North Carolina State University campus. They were filmed using public transit to get around Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh. The video can be viewed by clicking here.
The video won two Platinum AVA Digital Awards, presented by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, in the Video for the Web/Government and Video Production/Government categories.
“#flipfortransit” also won a Bronze “Telly” Award in non-commercial video. The Telly Awards honor the finest film and video productions, groundbreaking web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs.
These are the sixth awards for Triangle Transit in the last two years for excellence in marketing and communications. In 2012, 40 videos were produced by the agency for customers of Triangle Transit, DATA and the GoTriangle family of transit services.
