N.Y. hits Lyft with cease and desist order

NEW YORK CITY — Ride-sharing startup Lyft was sent a cease-and-desist letter by New York's Department of Financial Services, according to a letter obtained by Crain’s New York Business.
On Friday 7 p.m., Lyft plans to launch its fleet of 500 vehicles in Brooklyn and Queens.
