North American Bus Industries (NABI) will supply Glacier National Park (GNP) with Opus 30-foot buses to help the Montana-based park accommodate its increasing number of visitors.

For the 2008 season, GNP, the Montana Department of Transportation and Flathead County public transit partners expect to improve daily shuttle service with the addition of the buses. In the off-season, the Opus buses will be used to meet other state priorities. The park hosts more than two million visitors each year, and the shuttle service will include a fleet of Opus buses that takes riders through a 50-mile trek.
Vehicle features include expansive windows and bike racks. Park officials are working with NABI and Cummins to investigate ways to continue reducing diesel emissions.
