North American Bus Industries (NABI) unveiled its new 60-foot hybrid BRT vehicle at the APTA Expo in Dallas. The articulated vehicle has a rail-like appearance, with sleek body styling and five doors, including two on the left side for median platform boarding or left-side boarding on single-lane dedicated busways.
The new vehicle, which can seat up to 50 passengers, can be used for BRT or regular revenue service, said Andy Racz, president of NABI. “Also, it can be ordered with conventional diesel or the CNG package,” he said.
