Navistar Inc. announced that Bill Schumacher has been named VP, marketing, for Navistar’s global bus division. Schumacher previously served as VP, marketing, for Navistar’s RV group.
Prior to joining Navistar, Schumacher ran North and South America customer marketing at NAVTEQ, a Nokia company. He also spent six years in marketing and business strategy consulting and began his career at Motorola Inc.
“We welcome Bill to the Bus team and are confident that he will bring added value to the business,” said John McKinney, president, Navistar Global Bus.
Schumacher replaces Kathy Seegebrecht, who recently accepted a new position as VP of Navistar’s global marketing group, where she will be responsible for leading marketing efforts for all of Navistar’s global truck, engine and parts businesses.
“Kathy made an immediate impact on the bus business where she was very well respected by our dealers. We will miss her and wish her all of the best,” McKinney added.
