Ontira selected to deliver ETAs to Edmonton paratransit customers
Solution to integrate with scheduling databases, MDTs
Ontira Communications Inc. was selected as a subcontractor by GreyHawk Technologies Inc. to provide vehicle estimated time of arrival (ETA) notifications to Edmonton, Alberta’s Disabled Adult Transit Service (DATS). The company’s MessageCenter will provide the vehicle ETAs through automated phones messages to DATS customers. The MessageCenter will be integrated with DATS’ scheduling databases, AVL system and mobile data terminals. DATS provides door-to-door public transportation for those who are unable to use regular transit because of physical or cognitive disabilities.
