The city of Phoenix and its Public Transit Department recently relaunched their DASH downtown circulator service.
The relaunch, included a new color scheme featuring decals that depict everything from downtown dining to school life and sports activities, as well as revised routes to hit dining spots throughout downtown, a recently completed Arizona State University downtown campus and government business hubs. The service will also connect with a soon-to-launch light rail system that passes through the metropolitan area.
The reinvention was spurred by Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, who sees the buses as an important part of a new, broader definition of Downtown Phoenix.
