NEW YORK — A group of Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) trackmen saved the life of a co-worker who was about to fall 60 feet to the street from an elevated subway line in Brooklyn, reported the Daily News.
Hoi-Shan Leung tripped during a track-replacement project in May and was knocked unconscious when his head slammed onto a railroad tie on the M line. An arm and leg wound up dangling between two ties and the weight of his body was causing him to slip toward the street below, however, his co-workers sprang into action, grabbing and hoisting their colleague up to safety.
