Schneider Electric acquires Pelco
Addition enhances business offerings with video security systems company.
Schneider Electric completed its purchase of Pelco, a company that designs, develops and manufactures video security systems.
With the procurement of Pelco, Schneider Electric will be able to provide more integrated solutions for its building automation business services, which include power and HVAC control, fire safety and electronic security.
All shares of Pelco, for a consideration totaling $1.54 billion will be consolidated in Schneider Electric’s accounts as of Oct. 16.
