Since June 2006, Specialty Manufacturing has also partnered with private equity firm Century Park Capital Partners and Pretoria Transit Interiors.
Headquartered in Pineville, N.C., Specialty Manufacturing is a supplier of safety components, lighting systems and accessories to the school, transit and commercial transportation markets.
Transpec Worldwide, located in Sterling Heights, Mich., is a designer and manufacturer of bus components and systems for the school bus and commercial transit bus industries. The company was founded in 1974 by industry veteran Ronald Lamparter.
