SPX Genfare has entered into an agreement with CooCoo, a Huntington, N.Y.-based developer of innovative mobile software to provide a comprehensive mobile payment ticketing solution to the transportation industry. Genfare Mobile Payment will provide the transportation industry with a fully integrated, end-to-end mobile ticketing solution.

“There is no question we as a society have become increasingly dependent on mobile devices for so many aspects of our daily interaction. We as a business want to be on the mobile forefront through new technology. This is the perfect way to introduce transit to a new generation of riders,” said Kim Green, president of Genfare.

Genfare Mobile Payment offers a full featured mobile ticketing solution along with a comprehensive suite of scheduling, trip planning and mapping. Collaborative marketing via Genfare Mobile offers agencies with the option of tying in any special event to increase ridership by partnering with local businesses on sporting events, state fairs, restaurants and much more.
