Students turn to low-cost Megabus for holiday travel

With bus tickets costing as little as $1, college students are considering bus travel via Megabus.com for holiday travel.

College students are among those turning to bus travel to get home for the holidays as an alternative to planes, trains and cars. Coach USA subsidiary Megabus.com, which offers bus tickets for as little as $1, is attracting students with its low prices, free wi-fi, and flat panel monitors — the 18-30 age group is one of the company's largest demographics.
