A New York City Transit (NYCT) subway work train derailed in Brooklyn this week, knocking out sections of the Manhattan-bound F and G lines for hours and leaving commuters confused and frustrated.
At about 4 a.m. Tuesday, a five-car vacuum train cleaning debris from the track bed went off the rails after a curve on an elevated section of tracks, according to the New York Daily News.
NYCT officials said that until repairs are complete, Manhattan-bound F trains will not stop around the stretch of affected track.
No one was hurt in the accident.
