Transdev to Enhance Local Public Transportation in California

Transdev was awarded a new contract to operate fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services in San Benito County, Calif., which began in April.
The partnership with the San Benito County Local Transportation Authority (LTA) will enhance mobility options for residents in Hollister, San Juan Bautista, and Gilroy.
Convenient and Affordable Transportation Options
San Benito County Express, administered by the LTA, provides convenient and affordable transportation to key areas within the county, as well as intercounty service to Gilroy's Caltrain and Greyhound Stations, Gavilan College, and connections to the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) bus system. The County Express system also includes a complementary Dial-A-Ride service, ensuring flexible, demand-based transportation solutions for local residents.

With this contract, Transdev will leverage its expertise in public transportation management to improve service reliability and support the county’s long-term transit goals.
