The Minneapolis Metro Transit bus driver strike entered its fifth week Monday with no future talks scheduled.
The strike, which began on March 3, revolves primarily around health care costs. It has shut down a service that normally provides rides to about 75,000 passengers per day.
According to KSTP News, riders have started holding public rallies to protest the walk-out.
In addition to affecting bus service, the strike has also resulted in the postponement of Metro Transit's inaugural light rail line opening.
