TSA Administrator Kip Hawley presented Lambert with a certificate of appreciation for his tireless work to secure mass transit and for his involvement in the TSA Transit Policing and Security Peer Advisory Group.
“Chief Lambert’s exemplary leadership and devotion to duty fostered a commitment to security that pervades management, law enforcement and employees at all levels,” Hawley said.
METRO has one of the nation’s most effective transit security programs and continuously ranks in the top 5 percent of security ratings of all assessed mass transit systems.
