Using federal stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Razorback Transit at the University of Arkansas placed an order for three 40-foot Orion VII clean-diesel buses from Daimler Buses North America.

The Orion VII buses have a high passenger capacity, wide doors, a low-floor design and a kneeling feature that make boarding easy and fast to maintain service efficiency.

Razorback Transit provides free transportation for the University of Arkansas and the city of Fayetteville, including major off campus living and shopping areas. Complimentary paratransit services are also available within three-quarters of a mile of all fixed route, and operates during the same hours as fixed route services.
