Uber facing disabled discrimination accusations
Blind customers have filed complaints saying they were denied rides because the drivers didn't allow animals.
SAN FRANCISCO — Uber is dealing with accusations of discrimination following complaints that customer who are blind have been denied a ride because the driver didn’t allow animals in his car, according to NBC News.
In a statement, the company said it has “been lauded by many visually impaired riders for increasing their mobility with a reliable transportation request option that is adaptable to their needs.” For the full story, click here.
